Architectural renderings

It has been a while since I updated my blog so I decided to update it. The last couple of months I have been trying to lenarn how to create architectural renderings fast and clean. I am not sure I am there yet. I believe I need to treat these more like artwork instead of just renderings, which is a result of timing issues, these need to be created in less than 8 hours each. I believe the perfection of the pieces will come with time and experience. Here are some of the most descent ones. Most of them are digital and the wine bar is rendered half on the computer and half gouache. Tell me what you think.

This is one of the paintings I did the first day at work. I used Photoshop to create my original file the way the Master P. Diddy a.k.a Octavio Perez then It was imported in Painter 9.5 I actually went ahead and treated the whole image as an actuall painting and thanx to my skillz with the cloning tools I added the ridiculous amount of branches. Tell me what you think!!! This painting is based on a photograph I don't know the name of the photographer. Enjoy!!!

I found pictures of an old hand painted sign

COuple of Years ago I git a job to hand paint 2 huge signs on the 2 sides of the Blue water Grill. The one side was easy becasue I could reach the top of the mural with a ladder but the back side it was about 14 feet of the ground. Check the pics. Thanx to Nate Greco I finished the back side without any problem. I finished these sign in total of 22 hours.

THESIS PAINTINGS

Here are my thesis painitings and my proposal:
May 1st 1999, my family and I moved to the United states from Greece for a better tomorrow and better life. Through my first years I couldn’t think anything else but my country. While searching a way to get closer to what I really miss, I started painting scenes from the Greek islands. Painting was the only action that made me feel better.
Seven years have passed since then and I still find escape routes in my paintings. My thesis is dedicated in the loving memory of my grandmother that passed away Christmas of 2005. It is hard for me to believe she is dead due to the fact I spend the summer of 2005 with her. I never thought that would be the last time I would see her. These painting don’t only represent my thesis but a part of my self.

Digital illustration for my girlfriend's projects

I just did these really fast for her projects the one is communications in Argentina and the other one abou the low benefits that walmart provides and women discrimination, something like that.
I just wanted to show these somewhere because other than my girlfriend's class noone else would ever see them.
